How to Use the GrabFood App | Mea in Bacolod

Because GrabFood is in Bacolod, it’s now easier for tech-savvy people to order food without leaving the house. Personally, I’ve used the app about five times. I didn’t have to download anything because the app that I book my GrabCar on is also the same app I use to order food through Grab. Convenient, isn’t it? If you haven’t tried the app yet, here’s a great way for you to learn how to do it.

Step by Step Instructions: Ordering Through the GrabFood App

As mentioned, the app that you use for GrabCar will be the same app that you’re going to use for GrabFood. Let’s break down all that you need to do to order:

1. Download the Grab App

If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, you can visit the App Store or Play Store and download the app from there. Search for Grab or Grap App, or you can click on the links here:

• Grab App for iPhones – https://apps.apple.com/ph/app/grab-app/id647268330

• Grab App for Androids – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grabtaxi.passenger&hl=en

2. Sign Up

You only need a few details when you sign up. You can use your Google email, Facebook, or cell number. The first two options only require you to grant permission to the app. Instructions are on the app itself, you just have to follow them one by one.

3. Ordering

Ordering is easy. You just tap on “Food” on your grab app, then you browse through available restaurants from the list. Once you find the resto you want to order from, check out their menu. Put everything in your basket by tapping the food item you want to order. When you’re done, simply confirm.

IMPORTANT: If you have a promo code, enter it by tapping on “Promo Code”. Depending on the code you entered, your food could be discounted or your delivery fee may be waived.

The app will confirm if it has found a driver for you. You’ll also be getting updates (as long as you are online) so you know when your food is going to arrive.

In the video, we ordered from Fat Choi which was near where we were so our delivery fee was only P39. I also used a promo code which gave me P200 off on my total. After about 30mins, the food arrived even though the app said it would take longer. I gave the drive 5-stars, of course.

Enjoy your GrabFood and let me know if you need more instructions signing up and ordering. I would appreciate it if you follow me on social media:
